In her role as Responsible AI Lead at PwC, Maria drives the implementation of responsible AI and data across the UK business, its operations and clients.She has played a crucial part in the development and set-up of firms' AI Center of Excellence, firms AI strategy and the Responsible AI toolkit, a suite of products dedicated to operationalisation ethics in AI. Maria is a globally recognised, award winning AI ethics expert, public policy contributor, a member of various Advisory Boards - UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on AI (APPG AI) ,ORBIT, SKEMA AI Institute, Vice Chair of techUK Data and AI leadership committee and member of BSI/ISO & IEEE AI standard groups. Maria is a passionate advocate for children and youth rights in the age of AI and she serves as member of the Advisory Board for UNICEF #AI4Children and World Economic Forum Generation AI programmes.
