With rapidly increasing access to satellite data, leaps in artificial intelligence technology, and the ever-present urgency for action to protect the environment, this panel will explore the role that AI and satellite data will play in achieving net zero. Ioana Colfescu (National Centre for Atmospheric Science), Lucy Donnell (Craft Prospect), and Clare Rumsey (Omanos Analytics), with Brian Hills (CEO of The Data Lab) chairing - will discuss their roles in relation to the acquisition and analysis of climate data and their visions of what role this data will play in protecting the environment, including whether or not net zero is achievable.
