Dr Bronwyn Jones is a scholar and practitioner; she splits her time between working as a journalist for the BBC, and researching the role of AI, algorithms and automation in news production at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Design Informatics. Bronwyn’s research currently focuses on the implications of emerging data-driven systems for public service news in democratic societies. She also works as a Translational Fellow, exploring how the arts and humanities can contribute to enabling responsible AI innovation.
