Workshop: Ethics in Procurement: Beyond the Checklist
Michaela Omelkova is the Data Ethics Advisor at the Scottish Government, where she supports ethical delivery of data-driven activities, advises on application of ethical framework and champions public engagement in data and digital. Before joining the Scottish Government, Michaela completed her PhD in Molecular Biology during which she worked on understanding the pathophysiology of a rare genetic disease. Through her research, Michaela gained a unique experience in practical biomedical ethics as well as skills in large data analysis.
