Steven Vosloo
Technology, policy and innovation specialist
Steven Vosloo is a technology, policy and innovation specialist, with particular experience in digital learning, inclusion and youth in developing countries.
He is UNICEF's digital policy specialist in the Office of Global Insight and Policy, leading work at the intersection of children and their digital lives including AI, digital literacy and misinformation. Previously he was with UNESCO where he developed guidelines on how technology can be better designed for youth and adults with low literacy and low digital skills, established and led the organization's mobile learning programme and co-authored the first Policy Guidelines for Mobile Learning. Prior to that Steven was head of mobile in the Innovation Lab, Pearson South Africa, and held a prestigious fellowship for 21st Century Learning at the Shuttleworth Foundation.
