Session: Encountering AI through Art
Marion Carre is an artist, entrepreneur, teacher, speaker, and author, exploring the relationships between art and artificial intelligence. In 2020, she was an artist in residence working with the National Library of Scotland, and she published a book with Valentin Schmite entitled "Talk about art and artificial intelligence. Artist in the making?" She is co-founder and President of Ask Mona, a company that mobilises artificial intelligence to facilitate the daily life of cultural professionals and improve the experience of their audiences, working with many museums, monuments, theatres and cultural venues in France, Italy, Switzerland and Portugal. Since 2019, Marion teaches a course about art and artificial intelligence at Sorbonne University (CELSA), Sciences Po Paris, Conservatoire national des Arts et métiers (CNAM) and Aivancity. She has been the recipient of several awards, including Forbes 30 Under 30 and 100 Women of Culture. She has also received the Medal of Honour from the City of Paris.
